Tracie Vennekotter,
Agent/Owner, CIC
Tracie has over 10 years experience in the insurance business. After graduating from the University of Findlay, she began working for Copeland Insurance (Findlay) in 2002 and became a licensed insurance agent that same year. Since this time, Tracie has gained valuable experience in servicing home, auto, farm, and commercial insurance. In addition to her years of experience as an insurance agent, Tracie obtained her Master’s in Business Administration from Bluffton University in 2010 and completed her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2012. Tracie purchased the agency from her mother in January 2014. In addition to managing all of the financial and operational needs of the agency, Tracie also services the insurance needs of our customers on a daily basis. Tracie lives in rural Deshler with her husband, Mark, and their son, Jack. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, baking, and visiting family and friends.

Mark Vennekotter,
Agent
Mark is the husband of Tracie, the agency owner. He is a teacher at Van Buren High School, and he obtained his insurance license in order to assist her with occasional business operations.

Bette Gerschutz,
Agent
Bette has 30 years experience in property & casualty insurance. She purchased the agency from her father, Clarence “Cork” Ferrell, in 1994 and owned the business for 20 years. Bette “retired" as the owner of the agency in January 2014, but is keeping her insurance license active to assist Tracie with the daily operation of the business. Bette and her husband, Jim, live in rural Custar. They enjoy spending time with their three grandsons and traveling to Minnesota to visit their oldest daughter.
